Unicase at the 2026 Tashkent International Investment Forum

Last week, Tashkent once again became the centre of regional investment activity, hosting the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF 2026). Unicase was represented by Yerken Mukash, Sanzhar Amangeldy and Nurai Alisher, continuing our firm’s tradition of participation in one of Central Asia’s key investment forums.

This year, Uzbekistan presented projects worth approximately EUR 75 billion across energy, transport, logistics, digital infrastructure and industrial development.

His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with a delegation of leading US financial institutions and companies. Participants included John Jovanovic, Export-Import Bank of the United States; Ben Black, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation; and Carolyn Lamm, The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, alongside executives from Boeing, BlackRock, Meta, Air Products, Cove Capital LLC, Franklin Templeton, 77 construction Inc., FLSmidth, Visa, J.P. Morgan, GULF, and many other international companies.

Several major agreements were announced during TIIF 2026. Uzbekistan Airports and an international consortium led by Saudi Arabia’s Vision Invest, together with Sojitz Corporation and Incheon International Airport Corporation, signed a public-private partnership agreement for the construction and operation of the new Tashkent International Airport, scheduled to open by the end of 2030.

Another major announcement was financing of up to USD 150 million for DataVolt’s AI-ready green data centre, one of the largest projects of its kind in Central Asia. The financing is supported by DEG, EBRD, the The OPEC Fund for International Development and Proparco.

Solward Law Firm and Unicase Central Asia congratulate our colleagues and all parties involved in developing these important new projects in Uzbekistan.
