About

Raushana is an international legal advisor with over 16 years of counselling experience in Renewables, Oil & Gas, Corporate and M&A, Infrastructure and PPP, and Project Finance areas in Central Asia. She has wide expertise in Green Economy, Infrastructure, and PPP regulations development.

Raushana advises governments, large multinationals, financial institutions, and private sector investors on energy and infrastructure project development. Having a diverse interest area, Raushana applies her knowledge to the development of Energy and Infrastructure legislations, structuring transactions and deal financing, preparing legal acts related to energy facilities construction. Her professional affiliations include advisory on PPP and Renewable projects in Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Raushana is a preferred counsel for the EBRD, ADB, and other international financial institutions in connection with policymaking and institutional advice.

Ms Chaltabayeva is an Expert Advisor of Cross-border Investment Committee by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), a member of Kazakhstan Bar and Kazakhstan Petroleum Lawyers’ Associations, with an honourable MA degree in International Relations from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus, and LLB from Russian-Kyrgyz University, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
