Unicase hosted the Seminar “Belt and Road through Central Asia: Law and Economic Development”


LAWASIA’s One Belt, One Road Committee, in collaboration with the Kazakhstan Bar Association and supported by the China Law Society invited the most renowned lawyers, opinion leaders and recognised professionals from China, Malaysia, India and Kazakhstan to partake in discussions. The Belt and Road initiative is set to contribute to Central Asia’s development. Experts believe that cooperation on the project will boost the region’s economic development. The initiative will connect Central Asian countries with Europe. The Belt and Road initiative will cover approximately 60 percent of the world’s population market. The project will help improve trade and relations between the countries in various sectors.

Our Partner, Zhanar Abdullayeva spoke on “Foreign Direct Investments: Kazakhstan way”. Zhanar’s presentation covered Unicase clients’ practical cases and attracted the audience’s attention.
